	JDI Custom Remodeling offers custom design. Our team of designers is a combination of in-house talent and our professional partners. We can provide professional plans for your project that are needed for permits and clear communications with the project team. If you are unable to visualize your dreams, we offer the ability to produce 3D models of your project, remodel, or new home. For structural challenges we have partnerships with local architects and engineering firms. For interior designs we have several partners to help you design and visualize your choices. A good design is crucial to a solid budget. Without a clear design, our clients are uncertain what they are getting for their money and we as your contractor are uncertain what we are to produce for the money quoted. If you are not in possession of a professional design before you contact JDI, do not feel you are unprepared. We are here to help you with just that. You see, it is just as important for you to have a solid design as it is for us. We need a professional design for many projects in order to properly build a "Scope of Work" document that we base our budget and Authorization agreement upon. JDI leans upon our experience and successes to build off of your ideas, needs, and wants. We can provide floor plan design, Building Department Approved Plans, Engineering, certified Architects, Interior Designers, and many other professional support personnel. 2/D vs. 3/D? 2/D is your conventional sets of architectural plans. 2/D also consists of hand drawn renderings and sketches. 3/D is a three dimensional computer rendered model of your project. The 3/D model can then be animated and viewed from any angle. Our system is different from many of our competitors in that our models can be built to scale, textured with actual emulations of true materials for a realistic preview of what your project will look like.
